Keep your cap on and wash the hair that is pulled through the holes. Soak the pulled sections of hair in a clarifying shampoo and and rinse. Repeat the process. This will help in removing the maximum amount of hair rinse which is applied on the exposed hair and after that your hair will be ready for 'lifting'.
Blonde Highlights in Black Hair: Step 4
Now you can apply the desired shade of blonde color to the exposed hair. Follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully, process and then rinse out. Now you can remove the cap and apply conditioner to your hair. Apply it everywhere and then rinse and style as usual.

With time the black rinse will fade from your hair and again you will have to rinse your hair black.
