Emo Haircuts Styles Trends in 2010

Emo Haircuts Styles Trends in 2010

Emo cuts for men and women are basically similar when it comes to length and coloring because the overall effect is made to be bold and somewhat shocking! There are subtle differences in the hairstyles that create softer looks for women and more masculine looks for the men, but recently they have concentrated on bangs of different lengths.

Take a look at any Japanese cartoon’s hair style or Adam Lambert from American Idol and you will understand the classic Emo look. There is nothing more interesting in a style than to express your inner self. Emo is about pushing the limits of fashion and showing the world your personality. It is about standing out, and not just accepting things in your life that have been dictated to you by school, family, or culture.

This year the styles revolved around different length bangs set at different angles to create new and exciting looks for all face shapes. This is a haircut that you really can’t get wrong because it is based on your self expression! But there are some good looks that have developed. Using the longer bangs in front and shorter hair in back, men and women can get looks that will frame their face without much upkeep.

Emo styled hair generally looks tousled versus cleanly styled, but for special occasions you can use a flat iron to smooth your hair out. And products that care for your hair and add volume or style can be very helpful to achieving your ultimate style as well. Do some research online, look at celebrity styles that you like, and try them out – that is the best way to find your perfect style!
